Opinion

I faced a large frustration today:

People with no respect. I drive my car to and from Dordt. On T/Th, I drive from the Classroom building over to the Beej in order to go to chapel. On my way from CB to the BJH, there was, as always, a mass migration of people going from class over to East Campus/Covenant/Southview. These people decided to walk across the whole expanse of the road I drive on to get to the beej. And then looked at me, saw I was waiting to turn to go that way, and kept walking the way they were. Excuse me? I believe your mama taught you a bit more respect thant that.

Then, to top it all of, I was leaving the beej after chapel to come home for laundry/lunch. There, people were migrating from east campus/covenant/southview in order to go to class. 2 people walking right down the middle of that "road," saw me coming, could have moved over, looked right at me with a lovely little smirk, and kept right on walking so I couldn't get by. Excuse me?

I'm disappointed by the way people act. Sure, it's on campus and it's not down the middle of the highway or anything. But a little respect would mean you would scoot yourselves over so I can keep on driving by. But no, wait, I'm sorry, I forgot. You're better than me because you're living on campus and you have the right to do whatever you want.
